Welcome to the Padron Watch Company

70's era Clinton Automatic. Stainless steel case. French movement.

Availability: Out of stock

The Clinton Watch Company was founded in 1922 in Switzerland by a Russian immigrant named Irving Wein. Quite a few of the Clinton Automatics were produced using the France Ebauches SA T5-74. A solid, 17 jewel self-winder with 21,100 beats per hour. This gorgeous brown dialed watch is such an example. This is one of very few Clinton watches to feature a faceted crystal. A somewhat popular style in the late 60s and early 70's, very few of these original crystals have survived to this day.
